National United Methodist Native American Center

The National United Methodist Native American Center moved to the Claremont campus from Oklahoma in 1992. Established in 1983, NUMNAC aims to strengthen the self-sufficiency and self-determination of Native American churches and Native American in ministry. Other goals of the Center include developing awareness of Native American ministry within Native American communities, assisting in the design for training lay speakers, and promoting spiritual formation and leadership development in local Native American churches and throughout the whole church.
