Borrowing Privileges at Other Libraries

ATLA National Reciprocal Borrowing

ATLA's national reciprocal borrowing consortium gives CST faculty, staff and students access to dozens of the best theological libraries around the country. See the program description, along with a list and map of participating libraries here. To obtain borrowing privileges at a given library, simply visit that library in person and ask for assistance from the program representative mentioned on the above list. If you would like us to submit an approval request a few days in advance of your arrival, email your request to ATLA@cst.edu.

SCELC Statewide Reciprocal Borrowing for Faculty

CST faculty (but not its students or staff) can obtain borrowing privileges at any of the 38 libraries participating in the reciprocal borrowing program hosted by the Statewide California Electronic Library Consortium. To obtain borrowing privileges at a participating SCELC library, fill out the authorization form provided on the program's webpage and email it as an attachment to SCELC@cst.edu.

SCATLA Regional Reciprocal Borrowing

CST students can obtain borrowing privileges at any SCATLA member library. For the locations of these libraries, see this map. To request permission to obtain a card for a SCATLA library, please fill out this form and email it as an attachment to SCATLA@cst.edu. SCATLA borrowing privileges only last for one semester, so it is necessary to submit a fresh form at the start of each semester.
